Policy

  • Age Requirement

    • A student entering PreK3 must turn 3 by September 30th.
    • A student entering PreK4 must turn 4 by September 30th.
    • A student entering Kindergarten must turn 5 by September 30th.
  • Required Documents

    New Students Must Present the Following:

    Any student wanting to apply to Our Lady of Prompt Succor School must fill have the following documents at time of registration:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
    • Communion Certificate (if applicable)
    • Immunization Record
    • Current Report Card
    • Previous Report Cards
    • Standardized Test Scores
    • Educational Evaluations (if applicable)
  • Admissions Considerations

    Admission to OLPS is based on the following:

    • Recommendation from former school/day care
    • Transcripts/grades and conduct from former school
    • Standardized Test Scores
  • Fees

    Fees (For 2020-2021)

    • Registration Fee: $160 per student
    • Clarion Herald Fee:$15 per family
    • Technology Fee:  $50 (per student)
    • Science Lab Fee: $20 (per student grades 5, 6, 7 ONLY)
    • Non-Support Fee $350 (per student)

    This fee applies to non-Catholics and/or Catholics who do not monetarily support their Parish.

    TUITION SCALE - CATHOLIC - NON-CATHOLIC

    • 1 Child PreK4-7 - $4,900.00 - $5600.00
    • 2 children PreK4-7 - $8,575.00 - $9800.00
    • 3 children PreK4-7 - $11,025.00 - $12,600.00

This program is a tuition-free scholarship program that provides aid to parents of children that meet the financial requirements. Children entering this program must be 4 by September 30. The application usually opens up in Spring. The website is jeffersonchild.com.


SEEP:

This program is for grades Kinder-7th grade here at the school. This program is a tuition-free scholarship program that provides aid to parents of children that meet the financial requirements. You must provide all required documentation and meet requirements to be eligible for aid. The application usually opens up in January. The website is louisianabelieves.com.


ACE/ARETE:

This program is for grades Kinder-7th grade here at the school. This program pays a certain amount of the school tuition and the parent is responsible for the remaining balance. You must provide all required documents and meet requirements to be eligible for the scholarship. The websites are www.acescholarships.org and aretescholars.org
